The students of Cambridge Pre-school had their culminating activity that allowed them to apply the concepts that they have learned throughout the term. Armed with their booklets containing clues and riddles, their mission was to locate each item in the booklet within the zoo. From the moment they left their homes, they were already exposed to maps, directions, and signs, which they have all learned virtually. During their trip, they were able to use Waze or Google Maps and saw actual road signs on the street! It was a very memorable day for the kids as they did these activities alongside their friends. It helped them build camaraderie and a deeper connection with their classmates by exploring their chosen part of the city, which is a zoo. What a great way to end this school year!

On Coding and Robotics, children learned how to read and follow signs and symbols using a map—an essential skill for Coding. They were able to apply their new skills during their culminating event at The Mind Museum. Take a look at their new discoveries:

The teachers thoroughly enjoyed exploring how the robots work and are excited to teach the kids about coding and patterns with such adorable robots. What a great way to prepare for the new iSTEAM Curriculum next school year!

Every child has the ability to innovate, problem-solve, be creative and think critically. Ednovation Pte Ltd the franchisor of Cambridge, Shaws, and Child-First Preschool designed a skill based, technology driven approach to develop essential future skills. iSTEAM is an educational approach to learning that uses Innovation, Science, Technology, Engineering, The Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking.

"The family that runs together have fun together. " Cambridge Green celebrated their Family day last Sept. 22, 2019 with a heart in mind for the kids of Bahay Aruga as beneficiaries. To help kids live happily ever after was the core theme. Together all families have cheerfully committed their time and effort to run for these pediatric patients.
