Cambridge Hemady caps of Term Water with “Aquatica”, an interactive ocean-themed fair. Held last Monday, May 22, the Culminating Activity lasted for almost 2 hours. With the teachers’ creativity and children’s hunger for experiential learning, the different classes transformed the centre into an ocean-themed fair.

For Term Trees, the Kinder 1 & 2 level developed a genuine interest for animals in their natural habitats. This curiosity led to our discussion on domestic animals or "pets" as we call it. Luckily, T. Camille has a pet dog which will later on be present during their class fieldwork.

Over the course of Term Trees, the Nursery 2 class has touched on different topics in relation to trees. From planting to pottery and furniture making, the Nursery 2 explored the significance of trees in our lives so much so that they even went as far as discussing what an "Arborist" is in class.

The Nursery 1 class was initially hooked on the concept birds at the beginning of Term Trees. The students learned about local birds such as Maya, Pigeons, and Parrots.

The Toddler C students discovered more about the basic parts of the tree which are roots, trunk, branches, leaves and fruits. Their lessons were introduced through songs thus making it more engaging for the class!

During Phase 2 of Term Trees, the Toddler A and B classes were exposed to different bugs such as caterpillars, butterflies, ants, spiders, crickets, millipedes and praying mantis. They explored the basic parts, movements and different homes of each bug.
