During Phase 2 of Term Trees, the Toddler A and B classes were exposed to different bugs such as caterpillars, butterflies, ants, spiders, crickets, millipedes and praying mantis. They explored the basic parts, movements and different homes of each bug. To discover more about these little bugs, the Toddler A and B visited the garden found in Christ the King. During the fieldwork, the students learned that not only bugs and insects can be found around trees but other animals as well such as birds. Their exposure to an actual garden also helped in teaching the toddlers the various significance of trees, for instance, giving shade to people.
