Bahay Maria’s Story: Beneficiary for Culminating

Bahay Maria's Story

Bahay Maria’s Story

In line with Cambridge Salcedo’s culminating activity for Term Trees, we have chosen Bahay Maria, a shelter for abandoned young girls as our beneficiary for our open market.

As the Cambridge teachers went to visit them, they serenaded them with a song as their way of saying thank you. Their voices were so angelic and they were all smiles to see visitors. These kids never had a family of their own. Most of them were abandoned at an early age and are now being raised by this previous Marian foundation, which is sustained by funds from donors and sponsors. Despite these, they still smile genuinely, and are still hopeful about their future after their life in the shelter.

Once again, Bahay Maria together with the Cambridge Salcedo teachers express their sincerest thanks to those who supported the event. It would not have been a success without our biggest partners in educating the kids – the parents.

Thank you again and we look forward to your continuous support in our next events!
