Cambridge Salcedo’s A Christmas Carol
“A beautiful sight, we’re happy tonight, walking in a winter wonderland.”
This Christmas, the Cambridge Salcedo kids danced along to some classic Christmas hits and ended the year with a show-stopping performance.
But they weren’t the only ones who stole the show that day. The Cambridge – Salcedo Teachers also invited our beneficiary for this year’s Christmas party – the carolers from Children’s Joy Foundation (CJF). CJF is a shelter that cares, teaches and protects abandoned and neglected kids. At the beginning of the month, the parents have started to share their blessings through our “Christmas carol boxes”. Proceeds from these was used to help CJF cover their bills and expenses for their shelter and to purchase materials that will support the kids in their education.
The kids from CJF serenaded us with Christmas songs and modern beats accompanied by harmony from musical instruments like the rondalla, saxophone, and a beatbox. It was truly a display of talent.
Cambridge Salcedo together with CJF would like to thank all the parents who shared their blessings during this event. Surely, the help you have made will go a long way in instilling education and goodness to these young men and women. Merry Christmas and may your hearts and homes be happy and bright!
