The “Our Community” term starts off like how most days do for grown-ups… with a good cup of coffee!
Paolo Yupangco, our local coffee expert, visited the Cambridge Alabang kids to talk about coffee!
Did you know you coffee beans come from a cherry plant? They’re green first, but turn brown or red after you roast them!
Paolo then helped us manual grind the coffee beans so we could start the coffee-making process.
After you place the freshly-ground coffee into the filter, you pour some hot water into it and wait until the all coffee drips down.
Time to taste! Don’t worry, our teacher made sure it was only a little bit of coffee, and added some water, too! Some of us even liked it! Others, not so much. 😅
We didn’t forget to save some coffee for our teacher! She needs lots of energy to play with us, after all! 😂
