A Fire and Earthquake Drill was held last July 31, with the help of the Las Pinas City Fire Department. The Firemen took time to show the kids the equipment they use and explain what they need to do during an emergency. After the Drill, the kids were treated to a Firetruck ride around the village. They also got to try using the hose and enjoyed pretending to be Firemen!

Dr. Sarah Prudente came to visit the Nursery Class and talked to the kids about what a dentist does. She bought some of her Dentist's tools to show to the kids. She also let them hold the tools and gave each one a purple glove to use. Dr. Sarah is the mother of our Nursery student, Eduard. She encouraged the children not to be afraid of Dentists and gave each one a toothbrush to take home. Thanks for the visit Dr. Sarah!

Dr. Diana Nitural came to visit the Nursery class. She talked about what a doctor does and showed the kids some of the tools that she uses. Dr. Diana is the mother of our Nursery student, Dia. She told the kids that they shouldn't be afraid of visiting the Doctor. Thank you Dr. Diana!

It was a fun-filled afternoon attended by kids and their Parents. They got a sneak peek at our Summer Workshops: Cambridge Rowlings and Cambridge Bourdains. The kids made Oreo pops and got to do a story booklet. They also enjoyed the Ball Toss and Play areas. Robots and Dolls treated the girls with free nail art and the boys with free hairstyling. After snacks and taking cute pictures at our Photo Wall, everyone went home happy with a Robots and Dolls Loot bag! See you again at our next event!

The kids were treated to fun day of learning at the new Yellow Cab branch in Las Piñas. The kids saw firsthand the equipment and ingredients used to make delicious pizza. They not only saw how pizza is made, they were able to experience making one themselves. The best part is getting to eat the pizza!

Cambridge Las Pinas welcomes the year of the Sheep with an early Chinese New Year celebration. Last Feb. 6, the kids and parents came eagerly in their Chinese costumes or red outfits. The Nursery students performed a Dragon Dance, while the Toddler students joined in with their drums. The kids made Chinese New Year - inspired arts and crafts with the help of their parents and guardians. The event was capped with a feast of Chinese food enjoyed by all.

Cambridge Las Pinas welcomed its first batch of try-out students. The students had fun meeting their teachers and classmates. They did some Christmas crafts and were able to experience actual class routine. Their smiling faces told of how much they enjoyed their Cambridge experience.

CCLDI officers and Centre Heads attended the Blessing of its latest Centre, Las Pinas, last Nov. 22. The solemn ceremony was officiated by Rev. Fr. Steve Villanueva of Mary Mother of the Church Parish. Everyone joined in praying for more blessings, successes and for the safety of everyone who will enter the centre. A simple lunch celebration followed immediately after.
