Project Learning @ Cambridge Preschools

When your child enters the workforce, he or she will not be going to the workplace to complete worksheets. Instead, your child will be expected to communicate and collaborate with other people (boss, peers, colleagues or customers) to solve problems, innovate or market new products and services. While it is difficult to anticipate the specific skills required for future jobs that do not exist in this day and age, we can equip children with real-world skills. Acquiring and sharpening these real-world skills from a young age will better prepare your child for his or her future success.

At Cambridge Preschools, our Project Learning approach is designed to cultivate and develop these valuable real-world skills:

  • -Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • -Communication skills
  • -Collaboration skills
  • -Creativity and innovation

Our Project Learning Journey

Project Learning is an in-depth study of a topic. For the topic “Our Special World”, the children explored Singapore and its different cultures. The Peranakan culture with its colorful artifacts and interesting stories captivated the children’s interest and hence the Peranakan Project Learning journey began.

All Cambridge Preschools in Singapore came together to recreate a Peranakan home to showcase our children’s Project Learning journey.
