A Harry Potter-themed Halloween party held in Cambridge Legaspi last October 26, 2016. The kids got to experience a magical and fun-filled event. Students went around the building to go trick-or-treating. Different companies such as Trends & Concepts, Mitsubishi, Republic Glass Holdings, Sei Salon, Gervel Inc and even CCLDI head office participated. Kids’ pumpkin baskets weren’t enough for all the treats and goodies they got. Sure kids had so much fun celebrating Halloween!

In celebration of diversity, culture, and friendship. Cambridge Legaspi celebrated United Nations Day last October 21, 2016. Students wore different national costumes from countries all over the world (Spain, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Philippines). The kids played traditional games, “Kelereng” from Indonesia and “Rayuela” from Spain. They also learned different ways of saying “Hello”, “How are you?” and “Thank you!” in other languages. They had spring rolls and fried plantain that they made in one of their activities during snack time. It was indeed a successful event!

Cambridge Legaspi celebrated Grandparent's Day last September 9, 2016. Our grandparents and kids enjoyed making blueberry ref cake, and rainbow grilled cheese sandwiches. They also had fun singing, dancing and playing. Thank you parents, lolo, and lola for joining us. It was a fun special day at Cambridge Legaspi.

Cambridge Legaspi had “Araw ng Wika” as their first theme for Friday Free Day. The teachers and students greeted each other, “Magandang Umaga!”. Kids made “Bahay-Kubo” artwork, and played “piko” and “patintero”. They even made bibingka for their snacks.

Cambridge Legaspi had its first Open House last August 17-19. Kids had a camping-themed activities. They made artworks using leaves and twigs. They also played games, and read stories about the woods and trees. The kids even had camping food such as marshmallow, graham crackers and alike.

CCLDI heads and centre directresses attended the blessing of Cambridge’s latest centre – Cambridge Legaspi. The blessing was officiated by Fr. Larry Tan and was followed by a simple feast. The newest centre is now open to cater students from pre-toddlers to kinder kids (18 months to 6 years old).
